Business Development Manager

Location: Delhi

Reporting Manager Position: Founder

Role Objective:  Accomplishing business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans and increasing presence and clientele for Aadhan in the market

 

Key Result Areas:

   To generate and identify new sales leads

   Administrative duties related to Marketing, Branding, Advertising, Sponsorships and Sales initiatives

   Accomplishing marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans

   Understanding the market for potential buyers, and conducting research to understand their business model, requirements and challenges/Understanding client business needs and accomplishing a plan according to their targeted audience

   Conducting outbound marketing to reach out to these identified markets

   Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

   Determining annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.

   Improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development/Identify product improvement or new product by being updated with the industry trend, market activities and competitors

   Grow the presence and awareness about Aadhan as a brand, amongst companies, organizations and customers (Note: Every person out there is a potential customer)

   Develop outreach materials to support current and future programs (i.e. creative briefs, internal communications, workflows, presentations, newsletters, mailers)

   Do SWOT analysis, prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information of the assigned market

   Giving input on marketing strategies, product development

 

Requirements/Competencies:

   Must have strong written and oral communication skills

   Attention to detail

   Good understanding of B2B & B2C Business and experience in Sales

   Attention to detail with the ability to understand how those details support the bigger picture and company direction

   Ethical behavior toward colleagues and business partners

   High focus on performance and delivery

   Computer skills: Gmail; Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Slides

 

Qualifications:

 MBA/ PGDBM in Marketing with 2-4 years’ experience in business development

 Probation Period: 3 Months
